Henry has managed to surprise us, with a little help on placement of his hands, he's gotten pretty darn good at rolling himself over.
I just know he'll be flipping over all on his own in no time - which means tummy time just got a whole lot harder!

Henry's first vacation!
Sunday, June 14, 2009
On my birthday weekend, Sam, Ed and Jack joined Hahn, Henry and I on a trip to the mountains. We stayed in Frisco, but spent most of our time in Breckenridge.
Friday we took the boys swimming for the first time! Neither one of them seemed to think there was anything special about it, but still seemed to have a good time. But I Hahn and Ed definitely had more fun than the kiddos!

Saturday, Hahn and Ed went off to do rocket stuff for the day, so Sam and I took the boys to walk around downtown Breckenridge. The kids were wonderful and we had fun shopping in the beautiful weather that we lucked into!
The crepes were deemed 'Sam's bad idea of the weekend' after we spent too much money and WAY too much time waiting for our spur of the moment snack!
Out on the porch at the place we were staying! It was such nice weather!
And here's a couple videos of the boys in the pool.
Four Months Old!
Monday, June 8, 2009
June 1st marked both our 6 year anniversary and Henry turning 4 months old! He just had his 4 month check up and weighed in at 11 pounds 4 ounces and 23.75 inches long! His length has moved up to the 14th percentile while his weight is still in the 1st. (Guess he'll just be long and skinny for now.) The doctor was very happy with his gain and cheerfully pointed out that he looks like a baby now and no longer like a premie!
Henry's new favorite things are:
- Smiling a ton!
- Chewing on his hands non-stop (both at once if he can get them in there!)
- Cooing and talking, he always has something to tell us.
- Playing in his Kick and Play! He still kicks everyday about the equivalent of running a few miles!
- He just started to giggle and laugh and thinks it's hysterical when we dab his chin to wipe off drool.
- He loves to play pat-a-cake, the clapping and rolling is his favorite part.
- Starting to get pretty good at sitting up (with a little help) and will happily sit and play in his Bébépod chair while we eat.
- Just started rolling over, but hasn't figured out how to do it on purpose yet and HATES it when we put him on his tummy to encourage him.
- He's a pro at picking up his toys and putting them in his mouth. He love's Samson, his blankey giraffe/hippo/cow (we can't decide what it is), and also his crinkly frog.
- He loves to lay next to dozing daddy while mommy gets ready for work, and watch the ceiling fan while he kicks and plays.

Hahn was trying to teach him how to hold his finger up and make a 'shooshing' sound, but with no luck.Full of giggles!

Stoli Love!
Thursday, May 28, 2009
Stoli has to compete for camera time these days. But we finally got a good video of him running around in the backyard on one of the few beautiful spring evenings we had before all of the crazy weather started up!
You'll also notice the momma robin we have protecting the tree that contains her nest as we hang out in the backyard. And if you listen closely, you'll hear the music from Henry's kick n play going off in the background. ;)

The oh-so-alert daddy enjoying his Memorial Day with Henry.
I'm pretty sure, this is not how "babysitting" is supposed to work...

You've been abilified!
Thursday, April 30, 2009
After seeing commercials for the prescription drug Abilify - Ed decided that we should coin it as a new catch phrase. Like, "Don't make me come over there and abilify you!" (Try using it in a sentence this week!)
A couple of weeks later we discovered that our garden gnome had been abilified, here are the crime scene photos:

Random Cuteness
Tuesday, April 28, 2009
We were finally starting to get some warm weather and decided to get Henry all prepped in his hat and go work on getting the garden set up. He was super adorable and we got this great shot!
Hahn was blowing bubbles and Henry seemed to find it quite entertaining. He had this funny delayed reaction and his eyes would get all big about 10 secs after the bubble popped!
