The big move - March 2007

As I'm sure you all know by now, Hahn and I finally made it back to Fort Collins. After a few lonely years in Wisconsin and a year or so in Denver, we decided it was time to "settle down" and buy a house!

So last February we purchased our very first house, in central Fort Collins. We conveniently live about 18 min from Ann, Darrow and Tera (and our new nephew Mason), 5 min from my parents, the Farnums and Marge and Gary. Sam and Ed live only 950 feet away (as the crow flys) and Nic and Carleen just happen to be right around the corner!

Our place is your typical tri-level built in the early 80s that are quite popular in this area of town. However, ours was recently remodeled, the people who owned it before us bought is just to flip it and they did a great job. The fixtures and cabinets have all been updated, as well as new appliances, and not a single foot of shag carpet! It's a 3-bedroom/3 bath, 2 living rooms and a basement we hope to finish in the near future! Not to mention the HUGE backyard that is just perfect for the dog! All in all, we love it!

We removed the popcorn ceiling in the living room and had a blast painting too!
