After seeing commercials for the prescription drug Abilify - Ed decided that we should coin it as a new catch phrase. Like, "Don't make me come over there and abilify you!" (Try using it in a sentence this week!)
A couple of weeks later we discovered that our garden gnome had been abilified, here are the crime scene photos:

Random Cuteness
Tuesday, April 28, 2009
We were finally starting to get some warm weather and decided to get Henry all prepped in his hat and go work on getting the garden set up. He was super adorable and we got this great shot!
Hahn was blowing bubbles and Henry seemed to find it quite entertaining. He had this funny delayed reaction and his eyes would get all big about 10 secs after the bubble popped!

Alexa's 1st Birthday Party
Tuesday, April 21, 2009
Last Saturday, April 18th was the 1st birthday of Nic and Carleen's daughter Alexa. It's hard to believe that she is one already! It was fun to see everyone's babies and how much they had grown. It's crazy that Henry will grow up just as fast!Alexa - the birthday girl!
We wanted to get a group shot of all the babies. Carleen and Alexa, Amy and Ella, Aaron and Hannah and me and Henry. Everyone kept pointing out to him how he's already got all these girlfriends!
Carleen and Amy made these adorable and delicious cupcakes!
Baby trade off!
Alexa enjoyed pulling the tissue paper out of the gift bags!
Aaron and Hannah, she turned one the very next day!
We had to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Alexa very quietly so that we wouldn't scare her. She still seems undecided as to whether or not she likes it, but she had a lot of fun with her personal baby-cake!

Henry's First Easter
Monday, April 13, 2009
The weekend before Easter, Henry and I went over to Darrow and Tera's to dye Easter eggs with Mason. It was a lot of fun, Mason got a kick out of the decorated eggs, but quickly discovered that, unfortunately, they are a tad fragile. After cracking a few together and hearing one roll down the stairs, we declared him 'done'. :)
Mason is showing cousin Henry his Cars eggs.
The next weekend we enjoyed a fun Easter day at Ann's house. Henry was in a super good mood for the first half of the day, but it quickly spiraled downhill when his lack of sleep the night before caught up with him.Not a fan of the bunny ears...
Hanging with uncle Grant!
I forgot to get a good picture of Henry's Easter outfit, I love the little duck shoes! :D

Two Months Old!
Friday, April 3, 2009
On April Fool's Day, little Henry turned 2 months old. Its amazing to realize that much time has gone by already, but is also very obvious in how much he has grown. Henry is now up to 8lbs 4oz which is quite a difference from the 4lbs 15oz he was born at. His skinny little legs are finally starting to get the typical 'baby chub' look and his cheeks are starting to fill out.
From head to toe, here's what Henry likes about month 2:
- I'm starting to grow back my hair on the top of my head, it's still coming in dark brown and it looks like I might have a widow's peak like my grandpa George.
- My eyesight is getting better and the toys that dangle above me are becoming more interesting to watch.
- I just started smiling at people, but you have to catch me in the right mood. Otherwise I'm pretty good at wrinkling my forehead and have perfected my 'concerned' look.
- I love to blow spit bubbles and mom started keeping me in bibs to catch all my drool.
- I'm not 'cooing' yet, but I do like to grunt.
- My neck is getting stronger everyday, I like to push back from mommy or daddy's shoulder so I can look up at them. And when I'm on my tummy, I can pick up my head long enough to move it to the other side.
- My hands have to be free, I won't put up with them being covered by blankets. I'm very expressive with my long fingers and I've overheard mom tease me about them looking like "jazz hands".
- My tummy is finally getting to be round, I eat very well and sleep at least 3-4 hours between feedings (most nights), which I can tell mommy really appreciates.
- I love to swing and mommy loves to get things done while I swing.
- I also love to lay on my back and kick my legs, I've been thinking about rolling over, but I always get caught up on that one arm!
